Laura-lee qualified from Polytechnic West as a registered veterinary nurse in 2010. Before joining the team at East Fremantle, she trained and worked in a busy small animal practice south of the river for almost 10 years.

Laura-lee is passionate about animal welfare and client education. She enjoys offering clients advice on how to give their pets the best possible care and quality of life and is an advocate for rescue pets. She has volunteered with wildlife rescue groups including Native Animal Rescue, Mandurah Widlife Rescue and Villa Kitty cat rescue in Bali.
Her soft spot for stray/abandoned animals has filled her small home with 3 much adored, super fuzzy, and endlessly entertaining rescue pets. This trio with attitude includes the original heart melter, 6yr old English Lop 'Cruzer-Bruzer', his recent 3 legged bunny, partner in crime 'Miss Widget-Twinkles' and 18mth old, Ragdoll X 'Marshall-Marshy Pants Fluffykins' - who is so ridiculously cute he has his own Facebook page and Instagram account.
Laura-lee has an interest in creative writing and would describe herself as a big kid at heart. She is currently combining her love for creative writing, childrens literature and all creatures great and small to write a series of children's books featuring native Australian Animals.
