Which pets have left paw prints on your heart?
“Geri was an incredibly loyal but totally crazy Doberman. Her attitude to life was ‘go hard or go home’. Geri gave everything 150% and was a genuine inspiration to me. Of course, many animals touch my heart on a daily basis but I feel like it will be a very long time before I share a bond like that with another pet”.
Why did you become a vet and what do you enjoy most about your job?
“I became a vet because I love being around animals. They inspire me on a daily basis and I think they make all of us better people! I love meeting pet owners and observing the connection between them and their pets. The best part of my job is being able to support that connection. If the best health for the pet is a mutual goal between the client and the vet we can work together to achieve this. This makes it the best job in the world!”
How do you relax when you’re not at work?
I absolutely love and treasure spending time with my 3 beautiful kids! I truly value every moment I have with them.
I really enjoy going to the gym. Being healthy is important to me and I find it a great and positive way to start my day.
Share something weird or wonderful about yourself.
“I get a real buzz out of being challenged! It leads to a better version of myself every time I learn or face something new.
I genuinely struggle to start my day without a good quality cup of coffee. My staff can vouch for that haha.”
